Fuente Azul 2

Fuente Azul 2

Mexico’s rainy season is typically from May to October. But even during that time, it averages less than 30 inches of rain per year. I usually travel to Mexico during the dry season, but occasionally I get caught in a rain shower. The rain is usually welcomed because it brings cooler temperatures and a freshness as it washes out the dust in the streets.

Sometimes a rain shower can appear to come out of nowhere, at an intense rate, but only for a short time. I’ve gotten caught in one of these storms a few times. The roads can sometimes flood quickly during a downpour like this.

Since it isn’t common for Mexico to get much rainfall during the year, outdoor plants that adorn houses or businesses that usually don’t need much water to survive welcome a drink of water until the next time it rains.
